I was a young Specialist E-4 in the U.S. Army stationed at the Augsburg (Germany) Field Station, when one of my colleagues said one night as we both worked the third shift, "Hey, you should give rugby a try." That was more than a few years ago and rugby has been a big part of my life ever since. I've been a player, administrator and coach. I'll leave the refereeing to others. I leave this on my site because I believe in the power of sports. It has helped me learn the value of teamwork, discipline, goal-setting and giving back.
